Barunga Festival Adventure Ride

A guided motorbike tour from Brisbane - through Sydney - to the Australian MotoGP. An entirely on-road tour, it includes 3000 kilometres of the most fun, motorbike friendly, roads on the East Coast of the Australia.  The ride caters to all skill and experience levels, with additional tracks available for experienced riders.
 

You'll also engage with traditional owners of the lands we ride on.  See rock art that is thousands of years old. Hear more about the cultures and histories of some of the traditional owners of the lands we ride on.  Receive a traditional Welcome to Country from the Boowurrung people of Philip Island (traditionally know as Millowl).
 

Tour includes all accommodation (including on Philip Island), cultural activities and entry to the MotoGP. Hire bikes available

THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!

This is an epic ride - are you ready for it?

35 days; more than 7000kms; a bucket list of off-road trails such as Oodnaddatta Track, Mereenie Loop, Cenral Arnhem Highway.

 

Starting in Melbourne and finishing in Darwin, with 4 days at the internationally renowned Garma Festival of Indigenous culture, music and policy. 

 

Meet with and learn from traditional custodians in Melbourne, Lake Mungo and Darwin; as well as in remote communities such as Arakoola, Hermansberg, Yuendumu, Barunga and more.

 

This is a fully supported ride with back-up vehicles - including a couple of spaces for non-riders in the cars.   All cultural activities, all accommodation (ncluding tents) and all food while camping included.  Side trips such as balloon rides over Alice Springs and canyon boat trips are extra if desired.  

You must be a competent off-road rider, including in sand, with a descent level of ride fitness.  And you must enjoy camping....there will be a lot of it!
